The State of the Pod: Updates and Season 3
A few updates, upcoming events, and what’s next for Dungeon Punks
First off, thank you for listening to seasons one and two of our humble little podcast and for supporting us in all the ways you do!
Season 3 is on its way! We’re leaving the stars behind for the streets and skies and campuses of Universe City in what we are currently calling The Untitled Dungeon Punks Superhero Project. This season we’ll be playing Magpie Games’ MASKS system. Producer Kirk and Taylor Ramone - who you might know from Adventure.EXE or from our Murder Mavens and Escape from Dino Island one-shots - will be joining us at the table.
The new season will be dropping around the end of April/beginning of May. Before that, we'll be posting our Midnighters3-part Patreon adventure on the main feed, so if you didn’t catch it before, now’s another chance to give it a listen. Midnighters is GMed by Fil using an original system that Fil is developing!
The new season will also mark our move to the 604 Podcast Network! We’re excited to work with the new network which will hopefully allow us to bring you some exciting new content in the future!
As part of our move to the network, you may start hearing ads on the podcast. While we totally understand if that is a bummer for some of you, we’re hoping that ads will allow us to better compensate everyone involved with the show for their time and maybe fund some bonus projects (fingers crossed). Ads will only be running on the main feed, never on Patreon bonus content. That said, we don’t want to advertise for anyone who runs counter to our personal ideals or those of our audience, so if you ever hear an ad that upsets or offends you please let us know via DMs or email and we’ll see what we can do about removing those specific ads.
Lastly, we’re once again participating in WAVAW Streaming for Survivors at the end of March. This year Leigh will be running a Brindlewood Bay mystery for a bunch of talented Vancouver TTRPG personalities. You can tune in to that on twitch.tv/dungeonpunkspod on March 26th from 1-4pm PDT.
